Youth off the Streets ad features old homeless man
An old homeless man tells of the tragedy of being homeless when you’re young in an ad for charity Youth off the Streets.
The ad agency behind the ad was JWT Sydney.
“We worked with a group of homeless people in Sydney who were willing to share their stories and experiences, in an effort to challenge the attitudes of indifference to youth homelessness in Australia and improve the lives of young people living on the streets,” said JWT Sydney ECD Mark Harricks.
Pretty powerful stuff…
Awesome, congrats on great work
I saw this skit being filmed in Martin Place. What you don’t see is the taser gun pressed against his back.
um…. that’s quite a credits list! All deserved though, it’s a great angle to have taken.
Way to be a jerk Dirth.
Don’t worry, the homeless youth can just put the money they beg into the pokie machines the good Father is determined to keep around in pubs and clubs. That’ll keep ’em going…
Was it paid for by Clubs Australia?! Cheeky but timely.
That was really moving. Great angle.
Really made me think.
Love it guys, congratulations.
Good stuff. This is sure to have some cut through.
I hope you paid the poor homeless man a decent fee
I think he’s polished my shoes a few times in Martin Place if its the same guy
