Zen and the art of newsreading
Dr Mumbo loves a good broadcasting disaster.
So yesterday morning (Australian time)’s opening of the flagship BBC News at Ten was a thing of joy.
Millions of viewers had the ultimate zen moment of nearly four minutes of watching the newscaster Huw Edwards contemplate the world.
Tuned in to watch the promised dual mouse wielding and was disappointed to see there was only a solitary mouse! Left hand was simply tapping on the desk… Should’ve gone to Specsavers, Dr Mumbo?
Props to Huw for holding his nerve. But it needs more jacketgate.
