1.036m metro viewers tune in for The Voice finale, giving Nine a Sunday night win

The Voice wrapped up its eighth season last night with 1.036m metro viewers tuning in to see Diana Rouvas take the crown, according to Nine’s confirmed time figures.

Rouvas is the first female winner since season four, but her victory came with some backlash on social media as a technological glitch meant The Voice website crashed during voting. However, Nine reported votes were still coming in and the glitch did not affect the final result.
