10 launches in Australia with former ACP team reunited
European luxury magazine 10 and sister title 10 Men is to launch in Australia.
The deal between Alison Veness Publishing and Zac Publishing will bring the multi-platform magazine to Australia as a biannual hardcover print magazine in February and as a digital title from September.
The titles are edited by former Harper’s BAZAAR editor and founding editor of Australian Grazia Alison Veness, who has been on a two year hiatus from publishing.
There was a time about 20 years ago when ACP launched Australian magazines. Now all it seems to do is copy something from over seas. Something obviously seems to have gone very wrong with the company.
While magazines have been struggling, and some have closed, they plan to introduce a brand new luxury title – doesn’t make any economic sense.
Alison Veness is hugely talented. If anyone can make this work, she will.
@Lindsay, they don’t work at ACP and ACP aren’t launching it.
Biannual? Most people’s media tastes need to be updated every five minutes now thanks to digital. I’m not sure twice yearly is gonna get you the brand traction you need these days…
