Web comedy from Melbourne picks up LA Webfest award.

Melbourne comedy group Touched by an Angle Grinder have picked up an award for their online comedy series at the LA Webfest.

The announcement:

A Melbourne-made comedy web series about a failed basketballer turned private detective has this week taken home two comedy awards at the Los Angeles Web Series Festival.

Dick Dribble: Pro-Baller/Private-Eye was written, produced and directed by Greta Harrison and Matthew C. Vaughan of Melbourne comedy team Touched by an Angle Grinder (TBAAG). They were awarded Outstanding Production (Comedy) at the festival. Daniel Cowan took out Outstanding Lead Actor for his performance as the deluded P.I.
