2013 Best Australian blogger named as food blogger Sneh Roy

Sneh Roy has won the annual Best Australian Blogs Competition for her cooking blog Cook Republic.

The winners of the 2013 competition were announced by the Australian Writers Centre today with winners across five categories of lifestyle/hobby, commentary, personal/parenting, words/writing and business awarded.

Roy took out the overall competition with competition coordinator Rose Powell describing her blog as: “an outstanding example of the professionalism in the Australian blogosphere. It’s a beautiful and user-friendly blog full of stories and recipes.”

The People’s Choice winner was Chris Lang from the blog Home I Own who won with 1,468 votes. Overall 16,350 votes were cast for the people’s choice.
