3AW appoints Jimmy Bartel to lead 2025 AFL and sport coverage

Jimmy Bartel, football legend and rising radio star, is set to join Nine’s 3AW in 2025.

Already known by the 3AW audience after hosting Sunday AFL last year and filling in on breakfast with Mark Allen, Bartel will now lead the station’s AFL and sports coverage, including the Wide World of Sports, Thursday Night Footy, and Friday Night Footy shows.

“I’m thrilled to take on this new role,” Bartel said.
