ACMA attempts to desex the Kyle and Jackie O Show

The communications watchdog will impose a new licence condition that will ban the Kyle and Jackie O Show from using strong and explicit sexual references.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) filed a notice of intention to impose an additional condition on ARN’s station license for KIIS 1065 in Sydney and KIIS 1011 in Melbourne.
The condition restricts the Kyle and Jackie O Show, as well as any other show featuring either Kyle Sandilands or Jacqueline Henderson, from making any references to sexual activity or sexual descriptions.
Kyle and Jackie – I find it insulting that ACMA are implementing such measures on Kyle and Jackie – They are first and foremost “Entertainers, Comedians, Social Commentators and best of all fantastic to listen to each day”. What happened to free speech??? Where are ACMA when other media are promoting hate speech and supporting religious extremism? I am sure ACMA are scared to death of imposing any restrictions on those media. Lets let Kyle and Jackie lose – we need them more than ever. Dave
ACMA are taking issue with the timing of the show and its content.
The show is aired between 6-9Am primetime, when kids are getting ready for school. At the same time, our eKaren is doing her best to protect the children from ‘harmful content’ on SM, so allowing ‘indecent’ (whatever that is deemed to be) content on broadcast radio, at this time, would be the height of hypocrisy by the government.
I’m not, in any way, justifying the ACMAs actions. Ironically, it is the ‘Progressive Left’ and it’s industrialised censorship & narrative control platform, that has boxed itself into a corner in this one.
No idea it has taken this long for ACMA to figure it out.
Do they need a radio to tune into the show?
Kyle is speeding down to the gutter, and it takes them a year to even consider a speeding ticket?!
