Adelaide radio ratings: Mix takes Triple M’s crown, drive heats up again

In the fifth GfK Radio 360 survey of 2023, Mix 102.3 has taken the lead in overall share, bumping Triple M off the top spot.

With a 0.7 percentage point increase, Mix sits at 12.6% overall share, over Triple M at 12.2%. The latter had a 1.4 percentage point drop – the largest in market.

Nova 91.9 remains in third at 10.8% overall share, followed by SAFM at 10.1%.

In breakfast, Triple M has retained the crown however, as Roo, Ditts and Loz sit at 12.6% share, despite a 2.6 percentage point drop.

Fiveaa’s David Penberthy and Will Goodings remain its closest competitor at 11.5% share, followed by Mix’s Ali Clarke Breakfast Show with 11.2% share – having had a 2.1 percentage point increase.

ABC Adelaide, SAFM and Nova sit at 10.7%, 10.5%, and 10.1%, respectively.

In drive, Nova’s Ricki-Lee, Tim and Joel continue to dominant, with 14.1% share.

The competition for second remains tight between SAFM, Mix and Triple M, as the stations sit at 11.9%, 11.4% and 11.0% respectively.

The overall streaming share in survey five was:

  • Fiveaa: 13.2%
  • Mix: 10.4%
  • Triple M: 10.0%
  • Nova: 7.8%
  • SAFM: 8.1%
  • ABC Adelaide: 11.5%

The streaming breakfast share in survey five was:

  • Fiveaa: 21.5%
  • Mix: 7.0%
  • Triple M: 12.4%
  • Nova: 5.8%
  • SAFM: 6.4%
  • ABC Adelaide: 22.5%

This survey period ran from 21 May to 24 June, and 9 July to 12 August.
