Adrian Swift leaves ABC to return to Nine in top content production role after just 18 months
Swift: set to return to Nine after 18 months at the ABC.
One of Australia’s most senior television production industry figures Adrian Swift is to return to the Nine Network, after 18 months as head of content at the ABC.
Nine today announced that Swift, a former director of development at the TV Network, is returning to take the title of head of content production and development.
“I’m really pleased to say Adrian is returning to Nine in a role which will incorporate production and development of our local content, across all the platforms in our evolving business,” said Michael Healy, Nine’s director of television.
What did he achieve at ABC?
^^ An education..? In what he did NOT want to do, or how the ABC was NOT ready to let Swifty do what he was actually hired to do? ABC’s loss, IMHO.
I can’t say that I’ve seen any exciting new ABC TV product over the past eighteen months.
