AGT wins Wednesday night but The Block shines in all major demos
Wednesday’s episode of Australia’s Got Talent has seen a respectable pick up in ratings from its Tuesday night episode.
While Tuesday’s episode of Seven’s talent quest just managed to get over one million with 1.033m, placing tenth for the night, Wednesday’s episode won the night with 1.537m across the five city metro, according to preliminary ratings from OzTam.
The overall win comes in spite of Nine’s The Block winning the night across all the major demographics of 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54. AGT was second in every demo.
Seven took the one, two, three positions for the evening in total people. Seven News followed AGT in second place and took 1.511m with Today Tonight took in third spot taking 1.346m.
Why didnt the Anzac day AFL match shown in Sydney IT ALWAYS USED TO…A disgrace channel 7 treating the afl loving fans of Sydney and Brisbane with contempt. Is this is how you won the rights…treat Sydney fans like crap.
AGT is a much better show of australian talent that the voice. It deserves better ratings. the voice is so rehearsed. the judges put their hands near the buzzer but dont press it and then tell the singer that they are wonderful, great voice etc. Then why didnt you press the damn buzzer to have them in your team. Also note that in the US the voice is up against dancing with the stars and dancing is blitzing the ratings. So much so that the finale of the voice this sunday has been moved back to after dancing to avoid a ratings failure.
Just wondering where Kate is to bag out AGT due to Kyle. Is her no show due to the show increasing it’s audience despite Kyle?
