Aldi launches ‘think smarter’ graduate recruitment drive
Aldi has launched a new graduate recruitment campaign as part of the discount supermarket chain’s plans to hire at least 200 new graduates over the next four years.
Created by BMF, the “Think smarter” campaign centres around driving university students and graduates to a website which provides them with information about Aldi’s Graduate Program.
David Zalunardo, Aldi MD of the Prestons region, said it has tried to take a more entertaining approach to the new site, which includes the “Aldi brain challenge” and job application form.
“The brain challenges bring to life key skills used by Aldi employees everyday and give graduates a firsthand look at Aldi’s approach to business,” Zalunardo said.
The campaign in being supported by print media, search advertising, careers fairs and targeted emailing.

it looked so appealing I applied for the program, let’s hope I get a reply
Very clever, making something quite dull a fun experience.
Clemenger’s “Brain Collector” will be flattered. See http://www.sevenbrains.com.au
This did remind me of the Clemenger Group.
The brain challenge was fairly entertaining though.
Entertaining and engaging.
Way better than the Clems effort, too
Not exactly original.
Did Holler build this? They do all BMF’s digital work.
Never heard back from Aldi, weren’t they suppose to respond regardless of outcome within 14 days? Maxus, BMF? Anyone? 🙂
