‘And the Oscar for worst fake video goes to…’
Today’s Sunday Telegraph carries the “news” that Wolf Creek star John Jarratt got into a fight while filming a promo and, shock, “the incident has alrerady been leaked on website YouTube”.
According to the newspaper “he hopes to avoid assault charges”. One would hope so, based on the footage.
As one commenter puts it: “SOOOOOO FAKE, Hope the movie has better acting in it”
It may not come as a shock to hear that John Jarratt’s publicist is Max Markson.
Also interesting that it’s filmed (I believe) at QUT Kelvin Grove where Creative Industries and performance go on. I also believe that’s where his partner also works. Odd location to film and also lose your shit at.
It reminds me of this Miles Barlow promo – oh yeah except this video was actually good and surprising and looked fairly real and worked well for publicity!!

I think the only “charges” he will be facing are for bad acting

At least they could of made the punches look real instead of coming from a 1920 shoot..
