Havas Group is merging two of its advertising agencies Havas and Host to create Host/Havas.
The merger will see Havas’ CEO, Anthony Gregorio leave the agency after 15 years.

Congrats to Dan and the rest of the senior team. A huge shift, but with those three at the helm they will make it work. Sad to see Ant go, all the same, he was one of the best leaders in the industry.
hmm, think the brand name needs some work
The rumour of a Host/Havas merger did the rounds well over 18 months ago. Back then it was about Host being absorbed under Havas.
Neither brand has had a stellar run of late, but the survival of the Host name is certainly an unexpected outcome. Surprised Bollore would go for that…
So does that mean that Host and OGB are now 100% owned by Havas? Originally the deal was just 51% right? Small but interesting detail as I’m not sure it was ever announced that a full takeover had taken place.
