ANZ offers free wifi
ANZ is to provide ferry passengers with free wifi as part of a blitz targeting commuters. The annoucement:
Back by popular demand, ANZ will again offer people free Wi-Fi to access the Internet in selected locations across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane over the next three months.
From today, 100 cafes across the central business districts of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane will provide free Wi-Fi, sponsored by ANZ, for more than three months. This will include 45 cafes in Melbourne, 45 in Sydney and 10 in Brisbane.
ANZ first ran its free Wi-Fi campaign in October 2009 with more than 3,500 people accessing the free Wi-Fi in cafes and at Melbourne’s Southern Cross train station during the month.
Very commendable of ANZ, when is free wifi going to become more widespread and seen as a basic free public utility like in Europe, and Wodonga NE Victoria?
