ARIA Charts: Oasis back in the charts, Sabrina Carpenter wards off Nick Cave

Sabrina Carpenter has fought off Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds to remain at #1 on the ARIA Albums chart this week, while Oasis-mania and a nicely-timed 30th anniversary release has seen their debut album, Definitely Maybe, re-enter the charts at #10.

Oasis’ second album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? also re-entered the charts at #29, no doubt driven by the relentless Wonderwall/Don’t Look Back In Anger / Roll With It/ Champagne Supernova singalongs over the past week after the news that the iconic rockers will reunite in 2025.

Interestingly, aside from Nick Cave at #2, no other new entries made the Albums chart this week.

Over on the ARIA Singles chart, Sabrina Carpenter has #1, #2, and #4 – plus #10, #18, #21, #34,  and #45 – as fans keep streaming her sixth studio album during the second week of release.

As with on the Albums chart, it was a quiet week for new single releases, with the highest new entry being Sailor Song by Gigi Perez at #41.
