Audible invites customers to ‘listen to your book’ in first advertising work
Audio book company Audible has launched its first advertising campaign with a tongue-in-cheek spot based around a parody of ‘Listen To Your Heart.’
Created by Emotive, the campaign aims to demonstrate how time-poor Australians can still enjoy stories with audiobooks.
The ad, featuring Australian actor Craig McLachlan and comedian Jordan Raskopoulos includes a parody of 80’s Swedish rock band, Roxette’s, hit song ‘Listen To Your Heart’, rewritten as ‘Listen to your book’, featuring a series of people attempting to read on the bus, in a garden and on a run.

Wow, what a confused, hammy, unfunny mess. What are we saying here?
