Australian distributor Escapade Media faces UK creditor action

Australian content distributor Escapade Media is facing a winding-up application filed by British production house Albion Television.

The Sydney-based company received the notice under Section 459P of Australia’s Corporations Act 2001, which allows creditors to ask the court to liquidate a company if it is insolvent.

Escapade Media is due to face Albion Television’s lawyers from HSF Kramer at the Supreme Court of Victoria on 21 January.
