Big Bash continues to perform well as Love Actually helps Seven win the night

Screen Shot 2015-12-22 at 9.31.24 AMThe Big Bash continues to perform well however it wasn’t enough for Ten to win the night, with Seven pulling out Christmas family favourite Love Actually to scoop top honours.

Session two of game six between the Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers pulled in 768,000 metro viewers to be the most-watched non-news program of the evening.

Session one of the same match was watched by 566,000. Session one was the most-watched show amongst 16-39 year olds and 18-24 year olds while Seven’s movie Love Actually was the preferred choice amongst 25-54 year old viewers.

Love Actually, airing from 8.30pm, pulled in 656,000 metro viewers, easily out-rating Nine’s moving offering Patriot Games which was watched by 372,000.
