The Block catapults Nine to another weekly ratings win

Australian viewers are continuing to tune into The Block on Nine, with each of the week’s four episodes pulling more than 1m metro viewers and topping the ratings ladder.

The most-watched program of the week was Sunday’s episode (1.571m), followed by Monday’s (1.393m), Wednesday’s (1.225m) and Tuesday’s (1.196m), according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.

This, combined with the station’s news and current affairs line-up, helped Nine win the week with a 21.1% audience share. Seven had 18.2%, Ten 14.2%, ABC 12.2% and SBS 4.9%.

So far this year, Nine has won 15 weeks, while Seven has won 18 weeks.
