BMF opens in-house video content unit
Creative agency BMF has officially launched an in-house video content unit.
The unit was created due to meet the growing demand for online content pieces, according to the Photon-owned agency.
Headed up by Sue Hind, head of TV and art buying, the new team will be led by content producer Whitney Hawthorn.

BMF’s executive creative director Dylan Taylor said: “The agency has been producing great content for the web for many years, but we have reached a tipping point where bringing a full production team in house makes sense.”
“While we’ll continue to work with our external production partners on our bigger productions, there is an overwhelming opportunity and demand for speed and cost efficiency in video production.”
The team will be made up of multi-skilled ‘preditors’ (producer-director-editors).
Well done BMF. If the quality of that promo video is anything to go by, I doubt they’re going to be a circut breaker in the market.
Love the bump of the tripod at 2secs, and the great looking highlight blowouts on one side of Dylan’s face. Quality stuff.
Well done BMF for launching into the online video space. There’s plenty of gold in them there hills.
My only piece of advice would be to ensure you sync your audio to your vision. Editors can do it in a pinch. Not sure about ‘Preditors’ though…
It sounded awfully like ‘predators’ … not sure I would have gone with that portmanteau. Apart from that it seems like a savvy direction to take.
