Bread Agency makes major hire with new GM

Bread Agency has made one of its first major hires three years after launch, appointing Emelie Jessika Lundberg as general manager. Lundberg was formerly head of social at The Works.

During her time at The Works, Lundberg led campaigns for the likes of Subaru, Visa, 7-Eleven, Huggies and Kleenex.

In her new role at Bread she will oversee operations, spearhead new business initiatives, and help elevate the agency’s creative and strategic capabilities.

Mary Proulx, co-founder of Bread, said in a media release she knew on meeting Lundberg she would be a good leader for the agency.

“She’s got a knack for building exceptional teams and deep social experience, making her a trusted partner to clients from across categories.

“She values creativity and understands social. You don’t find that often.”

Lundberg said she is “thrilled” to join a team with “a reputation for bold creativity and meaningful brand partnerships in the social commerce space”.

Bread is also actively recruiting for several key roles, including an account director, social media manager, and content creator, to work across its growing client roster, which now includes Carnival Cruises, Zambrero, Connect Hearing, Cotton Australia, Aspen Pharmacare, and Abano Healthcare.
