Caitlin Fitzsimmons steps up as Sun-Herald associate editor

Nine has confirmed the appointment of Caitlin Fitzsimmons as associate editor of the Sun-Herald, the media company’s Sydney-based Sunday masthead.

Fitzsimmons joined the Sun-Herald following Cosima Marriner taking the editor’s role at the then-Fairfax title last May.

Newly appointed Sun-Herald associate editor, Caitlin Fitzsimmons: “The role also gives me the opportunity to write with a wide-ranging brief.”

Appointed editor of the Money section for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age in 2015, Fitzsimmons joined Fairfax as BRW’s social media editor in 2012 after six years of freelancing in Sydney, London and San Francisco.
