CareFlight launches first TVC via Momentum

Australian aeromedical charity, CareFlight, has launch its first TVC in partnership with creative agency Momentum.

The campaign follows CareFlight’s appointment of Momentum earlier this year, after the agency worked on Nurofen’s content series promoting its sponsorship of CareFlight pilots.

The 30 second campaign film features Australian locations where CareFlight has flown in an emergency, driving public awareness of the CareFlight operation and calls for donation with the message that  you never know where or when you might need emergency medical assistance.

Las year, 16% of Australians required emergency medial help,  with 4.1 million calls for medical help made to 000 nationally in 2021. CareFlight made hundreds of helicopter call-outs in 2021, operating across the Greater Sydney area out of their bases in Westmead, and across the Top End of the Northern Territory from their base in Darwin.

Senior manger of media, communications and marketing at CareFlight, David Wheeldon, said: “During over 35 years in operation, CareFlight has responded to thousands of calls. Momentum’s strategic thinking and creative services in producing this TV commercial is a great step in building greater awareness of our brand and ensuring we continue to respond to calls for the next 35 years.”

The TVC will run nationally with media proudly sponsored by Foxtel from next week, and in online content.

But if someday you do need CareFlight, know that they’re more reliable than any other brand you deal with in your daily life. We look forward to continuing our support for CareFlight and hope some of the 4.1 million Aussies who needed emergency medical help last year can support them too.”
