Cascade launches ad featuring the psychic brewer
Beer brand Cascade has launched the first ad for the brand by agency Droga 5. It features a brewer cycling to work while using his sixth sense.
The ad – “Feel” – is already running in Cascade’s home state of Tasmania.
The ad is the first to emerge from the agency since it was appointed to Cascade just over a year ago. It was shot in the Derwent Valley in Tasmania.
Carlton & United Brweries marketing director Peter Sinclair said: “The TVC heroes our home and of course, our brewers who pour passion and experience into making beer every day and Droga5 have done a wonderful job in capturing the essence of the brand. We love this ad and we think all of our Cascade fans will love it too.”
Droga 5 creative chairman, David Nobay said: “The Cascade Brewery in Tasmania is the home of craft brewing in Australia. It’s full of genuine heritage and wonderful yarns and l know that Steve Rogers, Cam Blackley and the team had a great time telling this one; the first of many I’m sure.”
The campaign is accompanied by a new Cascade website, also created by Droga5.

Not feeling it either. “The Home of Craft Brewing in Australia” that’s a bit rich. Maybe it’s based on all the Matilda Bay brews that are bottled there?
Cascade make really good ginger beer. They should do an ad for that to let the people know about its goodness
