Chilly, with rising chances of confusion
It will not have escaped the attention of Sydney folk that a cold snap is coming.
So Dr Mumbo was grateful to Nine’s Amber Sherlock for the alert that it’s time to rug up as the cold winds blow up from the south.
However, the Nine News team might be slightly confused about the identity of that big icy continent below Australia.
As Dr Mumbo’s spotter puts it: “Nice idea – wrong hemisphere. I suppose that’s why some TV stations hire meteorologists!”
Both the Arctic and Antarctic look great in white.
But not at the same time.
Perhaps it was coming round the long way.
