Clemenger and NAB follow customers on a mortgage ‘Journey’ in new campaign
National Australia Bank (NAB) is bringing the focus back to home loans in its new campaign ‘Journey’ from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne this month.
The new campaign follows the ‘journey’ of a couple as they move from single to couple to home-owners.
Filmed in the desert by production company The Sweet Shop, the story follows a number of cube-style homes as they roll through the barren surroundings, with the man and woman jumping between the cubes to simulate the number of times people move house. The voiceover explains that NAB will help support customers through these leaps.

So does leaping between the two cubes-on-wheels symbolise the leap-of-faith you take dealing with banks on insurance, mortgages and financial advice?
Like a lot of people the ad gets lost in other minutiae, such as, “Who is the Billie Piper lookalike?” Is there some sort of register of actors and the commercials they appear in?
