Clemenger BBDO sees first slew of new senior hires under Dani Bassil
Clemenger BBDO’s national CEO Dani Bassil has made her first slew of hires seven months into the job, which includes a first-ever chief growth officer for the agency.
Anita Zanesco, who will fill the newly-created role, joined from Trinity P3 pitch consultancy and will take charge of Clemenger BBDO’s growth strategy. This includes the growth of new clients and capabilities and the development of existing ones.

I remember when I joined Leo Burnett circa 2015 they had a press release similar to this one except there were 5 white men in the pic and Cindy Gallopp tweeted “Leo Burnett what the f*ck are you thinking”. Cindy went on to say this about not hiring women: “If you couldn’t find any, you don’t really want any. You don’t want any enough to go digging, do your research, talk to everyone you could to find brilliant women.”I might just be tempted to ask the same question of Clems BBDO. Where is the diversity or is this just a case of reverse sexism? I’m asking for a friend.
