Clemenger out, Ogilvy and Dentsu in as Qld shakes up creative roster

Queensland has unveiled a new creative agency roster, bringing in holding company heavyweights Ogilvy Australia and Dentsu Creative, while saying farewell to Clemenger BBDO.

The expanded roster grows the state’s agency pool from 15 to 45 for the next five years, retaining all incumbents apart from Clemenger and Brisbane-based independent Redsuit.

Known as the Creative Advertising Preferred Supplier Panel, the scheme sets out which agencies are eligible to pitch for and deliver advertising work for Queensland Government departments without needing to run individual tenders for each brief.
