CX Lavender announces four creative hires

CX Lavender has hired four creative experts for its team.

The announcement:

Following a strong six months of growth, including its recent new client wins Zambrero, Fletcher Insulation and Victoria University, independent agency CX Lavender has added four talented creatives to its growing ranks.

The new recruits bring a diverse range of skills, enhancing CX Lavender’s ability to apply industry-leading creativity to customer experience channels for innovation and growth.

Experienced creatives Meg Williams and Luke Ryan join CX Lavender as senior copywriters, and rising star Michael Orfanos joins as art director. Meg arrives from VCCP Singapore, while Luke crosses the Tasman from New Zealand, where he previously worked at Hula and DDB Aotearoa. Michael steps into his role after having started his career with The Hallway and Akcelo. They will report to creative director Claire Austin and creative director Russell Nelson.

Claire Austin said: “Meg’s talent for storytelling, Luke’s strategic mindset and Michael’s bold visual instincts bring something special to the table. Together, they’re not just enhancing our creative output – they’re redefining how we approach ideas for our clients. Their energy and talent are already inspiring the team, and I can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make.”

In addition, senior designer Mike Cunningham, previously with Bear Meets Eagle on Fire, will enhance the agency’s design and animation capabilities, reporting to design lead Ingrid Spiga.

Ryan Stubna, ECD & partner at CX Lavender, celebrated the appointments as a reflection of the agency’s growth. “Meg, Luke, Michael and Mike are all world-class creative thinkers who bring an even more diverse skill set to our creative department, at a time when our clients are seeking a deeper breadth of service from our agency.” Stubna also emphasised the agency’s commitment to staying ahead in an industry reshaped by technology and AI advancements: “CX Lavender is continually evolving our team structure to stay at the forefront of innovation. These new hires, supported by our existing talented team and a strong freelance network, will empower us to deliver fresh, impactful ideas for our clients.”

All four creative hires commenced in November with client work spanning Westpac, Zambrero, Mine Super and BlueScope Steel.
