Dan Murphy’s is turning its focus on Australia’s ‘local wine heroes’ in a campaign from Red Jelly to coincide with Aussie Wine Month.
The Woolworths-owned retailer has teamed up with Wine Australia for the month-long push which includes a TV ad focusing on its monthly buyer’s guide.
“Aussie Wine Month”? Now I’ve heard everything. Next we’ll have “Aussie Cigarette Month” or “Aussie Ice Month”. You can bet your bottom dollar we’ll hear endless gush about what a wonderful industry wine is and how it is earning us all these export dollars and not a word about the terrible effects of alcoholism and drunkenness.
