Dancing with the Stars falls on debut as Australia’s Ashes rout bolsters Nine and Gem
Dancing with the Stars fell sharply on its return to Seven last night, attracting 778,000 metro viewers, well down on the 1.04m who watched the debut outing last year.
The celebrity dance show, which opened with a two and a half hour special from 7pm, was the sixth most watched show of Sunday night.
It was well beaten by Nine’s The Voice, which drew 1.53m viewers and topped the night in the 7pm time slot despite losing 300,000 viewers from last week, and Masterchef on Ten which pulled in 1.04m, an improvement on last week’s 993,000.
Not happy with new host or Bruno judge.
Won’t be watching show anymore.
Love DWTS and I love Shane Bourne but square peg round hole.
He makes the show feel older and daggy rather than young and funky which Dan Mc did.
It’s a long road back.
Yawn.
Shane Bourne should perfect for DWTS because it’s key demo surely has to be 50+.
Where are the stars, sick of reality shows contestants being called stars.
