DAN’s Merkle names Rebecca Tos as ANZ MD
Dentsu Aegis Network’s (DAN) Merkle, a data-driven, performance marketing agency, has appointed Rebecca Tos as its Australia and New Zealand managing director.
The appointment is effective immediately, and will see Tos, who has been with the network since 2012, “leading and growing the business in market”.

Tos assume the leadership position immediately
yet the exodus from Columbus continues. Pay your people better
A bit harsh. She only came back from maternity leave 6 weeks ago. Bec is a super operator and took Columbus from sub standard to the largest performance agency in the country. I’m sure she will do it again. Maybe the exodus from Columbus will be reversed with a few wins and Bec back in charge at a higher level. If you ever leave the DAN bubble you will probably realise you are all paid pretty damn well.
you must be from the elite inner clique that gets looked after. Keep flying that flag. The ship was sinking long before maternity leave
Columbus was one of the largest performance agencies prior to 2012 already, the team they had prior to this was also strong, not “sub standard”. Not sure about the current team. Many of the people who worked at Columbus between 2009-2012 are leading successful companies today and or leading teams. So not sure how you define “sub standard”.
Useless and Bubble know what they’re talking about. That place is a revolving door.
Unless you’re in the inner circle @ Columbus, the handful of people that continually get promoted (check past Mumbrella pieces and you’ll get the idea), then you’re on your own. No growth. No pay. No opportunity.

Bec is a humble, super smart operator who is incredibly loyal to her teams and clients.
We say there is nothing to see here, so there is nothing.

Loyal is a stretch!!
Nice to see she at least has the support of her family and her PA… ^^^
Does she have the support of the business though??? Maybe Useless and Bubble have some thoughts on this?
To put it simply – this is not a good decision

I know people that used to work in Columbus before Tos took over. To echo an earlier comment, these people were brilliant and now running their own businesses or in senior roles once the shackles were off. Columbus was stifling their talent.
Tos isn’t a miracle worker.
No comparison to Ted Stites
