Details surrounding sacking of Seven reporter revealed
Details surrounding the sacking of Seven reporter, Robert Ovadia, have been revealed.
On Friday, the network’s crime reporter and occasional newsreader confirmed that he was let go after over 23 years following allegations of “inappropriate conduct”.
According to The Australian, as well as emails exchanged with a former female employee four years ago, Ovadia reportedly sent an image of a penis to a male colleague who asked the newsroom for “dick pics”, relating to coverage of child sex charges made against former Australian swim coach, Dick Caine.
While no complaint was made about the image, it’s reported that the incident was yet another blemish on Ovadia’s record following the emails that he sent.
