Diners Club tells its customers: you belong
Australian cinematographer and director Jeffrey Darling is behind the camera for a new ad for Diners Club.
Publicis Mojo adapted the ad for an Australian audience, which included the voice talent and scripting.
The ad will run on free to air networks Seven, Nine and SBS.
Media buying was by Mitchell & Partners.
A $1 for every time ‘You Belong’ has been used in the last 20 years would pay off a big Diners bill……………………if only you could find somewhere that still accepts it.
really nice spot – I like it
Shame you can’t use the card anywhere….
Does this brand still exist? Seriously I thought it had died like Bankcard.. I dont even see the “Diners accepted here” stickers at Point of Sale anymore
A lot of Brand work to be done here.. good luck!
@Groucho – I agree – I remember some wally taking that strategic tack for the IMB years ago – recycling at it’s best I mean worst – but hey, it is mojo afterall, so it is expected (viz that recent Qantas recycling embarrassment)
is it me or did my post go up – and then come down?
just asking
Diners Club. No other card is less accepted. Get one for your wife and save a buck or two.
I’ve been in Australia few times and have that card. Acceptance is around 76%.
In lot’s of countries in Europe acceptance is 100%. They have a new global owner which invested loads of money in acceptance in marketing.
