The Dirt n Dust Festival recruit Bondi Rescue lifeguards for TV show promoting the event

Network Ten is set to air a one-off piece of branded content for The Dirt n Dust Festival in Queensland which tracks the adventures of three Bondi Rescue lifeguards , as part of a marketing drive for Outback Queensland.

The show follows Andrew ‘Reidy’ Reid, Adriel ‘Bacon’ Young and Corey Oliver as they road-trip from Townsville to Mount Isa to attend the festival, and will air this Sunday on One.

Dirt n Dust Festival committee president Stephen Malone said: “Getting the Bondi lifeguards to Julia Creek has been a pie-in-the-sky dream for the Dirt n Dust Festival Committee for many years. To not only have them on board for our 20th Anniversary earlier this year, but to shoot something that embodies the spirit of Julia Creek and our regional neighbours along the Overlanders Way, has been nothing short of amazing.”
