DMG joins group buying race with getinquick
Lachlan Murdoch’s DMG Radio is the lastest media company to launch a group buying offering with getinquick.com.au to be promoted across the Nova network.
The site launched today with Brisbane as its first city.
DMG Digital boss Rebekah Horne said: “Our key learnings have placed dmg digital in a powerful position to launch a new group buying experience. Our goal is to be the leading group buying site in Australia for 18-39 year-olds offering quality targeted deals to our highly engaged audience.”
DMG Radio Australia is 50% owned by Murdoch and 50% by the UK based DMG.
The site’s first offers include a half price meal deal, a half price chicken, discount hair care products and cheap men’s haircuts.

Someone more cruel might suggest the name is less than apt.
Ugh… group buying
