ABC’s science boss Karina Holden moves to Northern Pictures

The ABC’s commissioning editor for science and natural history Karina Holden is moving to television production company Northern Pictures as head of production and development.

Holden has over ten years’ experience in independent factual television production, will be brief to drive programming for Northern Pictures in the international marketplace. Northern Pictures has offices in Singapore, Beijing, New Zealand and Washington.

Sue Clothier, founder of Northern Pictures, said: “Karina has a dynamic track record working in both the independent sector and within the national broadcaster and as such has developed a unique sensibility and understanding of the industry and its challenges.”
