During the coronavirus outbreak, brands are showing their true colours
Coronavirus (COVID-19) has revealed a side of brands we don’t like, but also seen others step up during a crisis, as Principals’ Claire Gallagher explains.
My Gran used to say, “under pressure people show their true colours”. I’d suggest the same is true for brands.
As we face down a global pandemic, this is a time we will judge organisations and brands by how they behave. Are they contributing positively or adding to the unease? Are they actively supporting their customers and employees or preserving self? Are they doing nothing or, worse, capitalising on the situation?

Supermarkets could have done more to curb the ongoing toilet paper shortage, and that of other necessary items
Commendable, yes, but easy for Joyce and Qantas execs to forgo their salaries when there’s a big Government injection of funds heading their way..
The real brand values will be shown in the actual practicing of what they preach at a customer level. We’re currently trying to reschedule/cancel family flights to a May wedding overseas and haven’t been able to get refunds.
So this PR stunt tastes a little sour on the palate at the moment..

you have got to be joking right?
I can assure you that if Qantas brand values are screwing people over while they are vulnerable overseas and putting them thru undue stress and financial hardship then they ARE doing a great job.
Great to see that Qantas are one of your companies clients.
You along with Qantas top management should be ashamed
of yourselves.
Keep living in your bubble
