100 years ago they wouldn’t have let “Shingy” milk a cow.
100 years ago we would have put you in the stocks for theft
You should have visited “Ye Olde Patent Office” Nic!
To be fair, having actually met him and watched him present to a large brand here in Australia, he seems to have gained a bit of an unfair reputation based off a name even he said was a bit stupid.
His stuff wasn’t changing the world, but for big brands who often lag behind, he was a valuable source of inspiration and a driver for them to change.
Think he may have meant “tenets” not “tenants”. #preservethetenants
Who?
I saw Shingy at Adweek last year. I honestly went along ready to hate it but left wishing I had his job if i’m honest. Travelling around the world talking about stuff he’s clearly passionate about seems like a decent gig to me. If he never added any value then he wouldn’t have continuously been asked back would he? I think some of us need to admit we’re jealous of a job that appears to have little accountability and loads of upside and get over ourselves a bit.
Could have seen that coming …
I wonder if he saw it coming?
“…the tenants of human dignity”?
Don’t go changing, Shingy.
