Facebook search for new Australian boss hits six month anniversary
Facebook has insisted that it remains committed to appointing a boss of its Australian operation six months after the departure of Paul Borrud.
Facebook said in a statement to Mumbrella: “We are focused on finding the best candidate for the role and are actively recruiting to find that person. We look forward to confirming who the successful candidate is when they are on board, but have nothing further to share at this time”.
The official announcement of Borrud joining Facebook was made in May 2009. Borrud resigned in January this year after six years with the social networking giant.
Facebook’s job site currently lists an open vacancy for the head of sales Australia & New Zealand based in Sydney as well as a client partner role covering Australia but based in the organisation’s Singapore office.

The only sales team in the market that make Google look good.
