Fairfax launches Domain real estate video offering
Fairfax Digital is continuing its push into video content with the launch of Domain TV on its real estate site.
The video content will also be available via property sections of Fairfax Digital’s news websites.
The launch advertiser is St George Bank, with the integration into the site negotiated by OMD and sister agency Fuse.
Ed Harrison, commercial director of Fairfax Digital, said “We’re extremely pleased to have St.George on board for the launch of Domain TV. The demand for video content across our network continues to grow strongly, so it was a natural step for us to introduce video into Domain. We know that our advertisers get the best results when they add value to the user experience and Domain TV does this in a big way.”
Among the video content will be daily and weekly reports on the real estate market, a homebuyer lifestyle series, and a series looking at local areas to live across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
Very ordinary offering.
Are all Fairfax devotees really interested in Zsa Zsa selling her mansion and London apartments going for 160 mill?
And in terms of the information pieces; if your talent isn’t engaging enough, then replace them with someone better, not excruciating overlay. Respect the audience.

The video quality is pretty poor and I’m struggling to see where St George is adding value to the consumer experience?
I wouldn’t called putting ads everywhere on the site as “enhancing a users experience”?
Fairfax has set a record for number of different ads on a page though!
