Film Victoria reveals two new programs/guidelines

Film Victoria has announced it is reducing its 25 guidelines to six; all of the agency’s available funding will exist under six core programs, each containing funding strands and regulated by the new guidelines.

The first two are Screen Engagement and Screen Business; the rest will be rolled out over the coming months. The objective is to clarify the intention of the programs and better communicate with practitioners about what’s available, how to apply and how to work with the agency. According to Film Victoria, there have been no changes to the funding or the assessment criteria.

The program guidelines all have the same structure and are divided into easy-to-read sections.

The first program is Screen Engagement, which suports organisations, festivals, events and publications to better engage Victorian audiences with screen content and culture. It contains two funding strands:
