Former Bauer publisher Peter Holder appointed acting MD of Daily Mail Australia

Former Bauer Media publisher Peter Holder has been named as the acting managing director of the Daily Mail Australia replacing Mikaela Lancaster who is understood to be moving to Asia, Mumbrella has learned.

Holder previously headed Bauer’s joint publications with Hearst Media International (HMI) which included the likes of Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar and Madison.

His appointment on a six month contract is understood to have been revealed to staff there yesterday. 

Holder will oversee sales, marketing and operations for Daily Mail Australia while editor Luke McIlveen will continue to oversee editorial.
