Former iSelect chief marketer Geraldine Davys joins Holden in top marketing role
Car manufacturer Holden has named former iSelect marketing chief Geraldine Davys as its executive director of marketing replacing Bill Mott, who is relocating to GM Europe with his family.
Davys quit the insurance comparison website in February just 15 months into the role as she sought her “next career opportunity”.
Prior to her time at iSelect, during which she moved the firm’s media buying from in-house to Maxus, Davys worked at Sensis for nine years in a variety of roles.
That is as really good hire for Holden. In the brief time I had dealings with Geraldine at iSelect I found her to be really smart and very up front and honest.
Goddam Holden is an absolute mess- talk about having one of the most established and loyal fan bases turn to hate and despise you – that’s Holden. It’s mainly been the ‘wisdom’ of the americans and the parent company directives, but still, it’s been a self inflicted crucification out there.
Not sure if this will be able to fix it, but good luck.
