Former Mediacom digital head Andrea Rule moves to Yahoo7
A month after Mediacom’s strategy director Stefan Burford left for UM, the WPP media agency’s former group business director Andrea Rule has moved to Yahoo7.
Rules, who left Mediacom in January to travel overseas, takes on a new role as strategy and business development manager at Yahoo7, working within Seven Media Group’s integrated advertising division, SMG Red.
Rule will be based in Yahoo7’s Melbourne office.
“The newly created role will provide us with additional senior digital expertise in the Melbourne market,” said Damon Scarr, Commercial Director at Yahoo7.

Tim – well she didnt come back to Mediacom after her travels so I’d call it a defection. I’ve got staff who take 3 months off to go travelling and they come back. No defection.
