Four’N Twenty beef, cheese and Vegemite pie to hit shelves for 70th birthday celebration

Four’N Twenty pies and Vegemite have combined to create a beef, cheese and Vegemite pie, which will be stocked in Coles supermarkets.
The accompanying promotional campaign opens with dramatic music as people chew in slow motion.
“Get ready to taste Australian history,” the ad says as people wipe their mouths clean.
The campaign aims to remind Australians Vegemite is not just a breakfast spread and can be used as a “flavour kick” for stews and gravy.
Mario Matchado, Four’N Twenty marketing manager, said in a statement: “2017 is a historic year for both our brands – it’s the 70th anniversary for Four’N Twenty and Vegemite has moved back into Australian ownership.
“What better way to celebrate than launching a Four’N Twenty Beef, Cheese and Vegemite pie? We love our Aussie mateship culture and we couldn’t be more stoked to be part of this delicious, historic partnership.”
AFLW player, Daisy Pearce, said: “My two favourite foods have finally come together! For me, this is a bit of a game changer, in the industry and for my taste buds.”
The new pies will be available from July 17 for a limited time only.

Four ‘n Twenty have put me out of business? . Always put a dab of vegemite and bits of cheese in four ‘n twenty that I eat. ?
Me and my son just had the cheese and Vegemite pie and we both are very disappointed and were shocked that there was absolutely no sign or taste of vegemit
My son and myself just had your Vegemite pie and were very dissatisfied and disappointed that you could pull this gimmick,we were so excited and couldn’t wait for them to come out of the oven but they were nothing more than a beef and cheese pie, we buy them every week and love them , but these had absolutely no ” VEGEMITE ” I believe you will hear more negative comments , Sandra ,,,
