Foxtel pushes its sports credentials with campaign featuring Steve Smith, Tim Cahill and Craig Lowndes
In a bid to pick up more subscribers, Foxtel has launched a campaign highlighting its sports programming line-up.
The campaign features national cricket captain Steve Smith, women’s all-rounder Ellyse Perry, soccer stars Tim Cahill and Sam Kerr, Wallabies captain Michael Hooper and Supercars driver Craig Lowndes, and will push the subscription television service’s $39 retail sports offer.
Newly installed Foxtel CEO Patrick Delany – who secured the gig ahead of a merger between Foxtel and Fox Sports, which also saw the departure of incumbent CEO Peter Tonagh – said Foxtel’s latest offer couldn’t come at a better time.
Winifred off to a flyer!
If basic package is a forced payment plus $39 for sports I disconnect foxtel.
Offer the sports on its own or it’s too expensive.
If you want more people to subscribe to foxtel then offer more cricket or may be a separate channel for cricket to attract people from sub continent to watch international series and domestic like IPL.
It’s not $39 you first have to pay for stuff you don’t really want!!!!!!!
It actually is $39. 45 ent channels are bundled at no additional charge
Who is Mrs T in the Foxtel Sports ad?
Good question!
