Tinder joins list of ‘rainbow’ brands supporting Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras
Tinder has jumped on board as a sponsor of 2018’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
The partnership involves supporting the festival which runs from 16 February and culminates in the parade on 3 March. Tinder will have a float in the parade and will also host an ‘interactive space’ on Fair Day (18 February) “to help experienced swipers and curious newbies get the most out of their Tinder experience, and make meaningful matches throughout the carnival”.
Jonathan Badeen, co-founder and chief strategy officer at Tinder, said the brand was proud to celebrate diversity.
Well, as a platform for degenerates (which is a sad yet inevitable consequence of the sexual revolution) it’s no wonder that they’d support something as debased as the Mardi Gras.
Hi Mumbrella, are you seriously going to allow the publishing of a comment which calls gay people “degenerates” and the Mardi Gras “debased”?
Hi ‘What the hell’,
I suspect this won’t change your mind, but for the sake of clarity: ‘Johnny’ actually called Tinder users, rather than gay people, “degenerates”. The comment is taking a swipe at users of the app, (and, yes, participants in the festival) – rather than the entire gay community.
It’s certainly not an opinion we at Mumbrella agree with.
Thanks,
Vivienne

“So, what you’re saying is?”
Some of those degenerates are in loving long-term relationships with kids. And even if they aren’t, who are you to label people’s sexual proclivities as that of degenerates? Stay under the bridge you sputumous cloth-eared cretin.
So it’s “debased” to fight for equality, self-expression, and respect? debased = lower in status, esteem, quality, or character.
