Foxtel’s general manager of advertising sales and brand partnerships, Andrew Mulready, will leave the pay TV company next month.
Mulready has been with the company since 2009. He was previously Nine’s Sydney sales director.

The product is tired and the business model/pricing is out of whack.
Congratulations Andrew on your outstanding career and amazing contribution at Foxtel. Your commercial results speak for themselves but moreover your leadership; the way you carried yourself; and led through your values had a major impact on your team and the broader company.
It’s not just happening at the Exec level, it is a constant revolving door at Foxtel as staff at all levels get burned and disheartened by the poor leadership and management decisions.
One of my favourite people to work for who allowed me to do some fun and very cool work. Foxtel’s loss will be some other company’s gain.
A true industry great and someone that passionately has taken care of his staff throughout his service.

Mark Buckman is spot on. Although to answer what is going inside Foxtel is a mess. Mark sat down with a few of our staff for a coffee 3 years ago and pretty much summed up that in a low wage growth environment whilst everything else goes up in price like electricity, consumers will be savvy with their money looking for value and innovation, the days of jacking up prices in entertainment Tv were gone. Netflix had about 1.1 million subscribers and Mark nails it be saying that some may not have even been watching a movie for a month, but 10 bucks they wont notice it from their budget…but 100 bucks plus…unless you give value and innovation then your revenue goes down the tube.
